Sundridge Park - A Day to Remember
Tucked away amongst quiet residential roads, Sundridge Park is a hidden jewel in the suburbs of Bromley. We proudly boast two magnificent championship courses, maintained in first class condition. We welcome visitors and societies alike with packages to suit all.
Breakfast, comprising coffee and a bacon roll awaits the discerning golfer, followed by 18 holes on the East course. The East is an Open pre qualifying course and it is a fair but challenging test. Newcomers are often inspired by its quality and layout with its true, consistent greens, allowing first timers the opportunity to shoot low scores.
Lunch is a casual affair, there is no need to change into jacket and tie but we do ask that societies and visitors do not wear golf shoes in the dining room (Dress code explained). After a good lunch, you may wish to use a buggy for the afternoon round. Buggies are available and should be booked in advance through the Club Professional.
If the East inspired you then the West will enthral you with its magnificent views of London's famous landmarks. The West is equal in quality to the East yet maintains its own unique character, the contours are incorporated into the design to create many challenging approach shots. The apex of the course is a small plateau behind the 4th green. From here there are commanding, panoramic views of the City of London, encompassing Canary Wharf to the East and the new Wembley Stadium Arch to the West.
In between lies the whole of the City and West End of London with the Millennium Wheel standing prominently at the centre. We are less than seven miles, as the crow flies, from the centre of London and claim to be the World's closest 36 hole golf club to a major metropolitan centre.
After two rounds, breakfast and a hearty lunch, what better way to round off the day than by taking a shower and changing in our newly refurbished visitors changing rooms? An opportunity to discuss the day's events, confirm prize winners and freshen up for dinner. Dinner is a carvery with generous portions, we serve fine wine and good ale to compliment the food as you relax at the end of a day to remember.
