In 2010 the Sundridge Park Waterford Trophy was relaunched as a 72 hole event with WAGR ranking and a £2000 prize fund.
36 holes on the East course on Friday 27 August and for those who make the cut, 36 holes on the West course on Saturday 28 August.

News on past Waterford Trophy players: 

• Luke Goddard, winner of the 2007 Waterford trophy, wins the English Amateur championship 2009 at Rye and is selected to represent GB&I in the Walker Cup against USA at Merion GC on 12th & 13th September 2009.
• Todd Addcock, runner-up in the 2007 Waterford trophy, wins the English Amateur champion in 2008 at Woodhall Spa.
